L’Anne Gilman graduated from UNC Chapel Hill in 1991 with a Bachelor’s in Art History. From 1991 – 2007, Gilman worked as the director for Gail Severn Gallery, then Anne Reed Gallery before opening Gilman Contemporary in 2007 in Sun Valley, ID. During that time she has served on the Board of Directors for the Mountain Human Animal Shelter, The Sage School and Sun Valley Center for the Arts/Company of Fools.
L’Anne has been captivated by African wildlife depicted in Nick Brandt’s amazing photographs, and is dedicated to help Big Life protect the Greater Amboseli ecosystem in East Africa.
